Okay, it seems to be working mostly fine, no errors or anything or getting frozen. I turned it on and off several times and for some reason, some of the times it would not turn off or on, but I just kept pressing the button for either one and eventually it would turn on or off. Plus, the sim I was using to turn it on and off, her portrait would get reset and her body in the play window would snap around like she was getting reset, but no errors or frozen sims.
I wonder what could be causing this? Maybe it was that I had switched the on and off textures (so the on texture I made I put where the off texture was originally and the off texture I made I put where the on texture was originally, if you get what I mean). That's the only thing I can think of :\.
I'm not sure, though, if the resetting causes damage to sims, either, because I just moved a family in a lot that didn't have any relationships, skills, etc.
