Okay, I took out all of my CC and tested the sideboard again. Same issue, unfortunately.
The main thing I got from the testingcheat popup in-game, as well as the error log from the Logs folder is "Error: Material Change on Non 3D object."

I'm not quite sure what that means, perhaps you can make more sense of it that I can. =/
